Aftermarket Buckles and Clasps for Your Custom Strap Pleasure – In addition to our custom-manufactured ‘D9’ Logo buckles and clasps<\/a>, We also offer a number of aftermarket buckles and straps in all shapes and sized.\u00a0 Of course, if we don’t stock the ‘D9’ logo buckle or clasp in the size of configuration that you need or want for our custom strap project, we are happy to offer you these alternative options.\u00a0 Further, if you don’t see exactly the buckle that you would like for your custom strap, please let me know what you are looking for and I will be glad to try to find it for you.<\/p>\n

Aftermarket buckles:<\/h2>\n

Pin Buckles:<\/h3>\n

These basic buckles are available in many sizes and finishes and materials from 12mm to as large as 24mm.\u00a0 Most commonly made from Brushed or polished finish Stainless Steel, that are also available in Gold-tone and Rose gold-tone as well as Black PVD and in Titanium<\/p>\n

IWC Pilot Style Buckles:<\/h3>\n

These buckles are designed to look like the buckles which are used by IWC on many of their Pilot style and other straps, but without the IWC log and without the high cost.\u00a0 These are a great alternative for your custom strap for IWC where you would like the OEM look but don’t need to have a High-cost IWC logo buckle.\u00a0 Please bear in mind that I do not sell buckles with IWC or any other watch manufacturer logo.\u00a0 If you want a genuine Logo item, there are many fakes on the market, so I strongly recommend you contact an authorized dealer for your brand in order to assure you are buying a genuine item:<\/p>\n

Aftermarket Deployant clasps:<\/span><\/p>\n

I offer a number of deployant clasp options, some of which I have in stock and others of which I will special order for your strap project from my network of suppliers.\u00a0 These are a great choice if you are a deployant clasp guy or gal and want to preserve your strap by preventing undue bending while putting on and taking off your watch.\u00a0 Our straps are made with a vegetable-tanned mid-layer for extreme internal strength, but even so, some or our customers just prefer the look and feel of a deployant clasp:<\/p>\n

Omega style deployant clasp:<\/h3>\n

These clasps are one of my favorite clasp designs on the market they still allow for a strap that is relatively thick at the deployant interface at about 3mm and since the long side strap tucks to the inside of the wrist, not keeper loops are necessary, which results in a very clean\/streamlined look in the wrist.\u00a0 These clasps offer the additional security of a button activation.\u00a0 Please note however that this style clasp requires a different strap length proportion between the short and long side straps and as previously mentioned no keeper loops so if your order your strap to fit this style clasp, you will not be able to switch to another buckle or clasp after your strap is made.<\/p>\n

By way of example, if you have a 7 inch (18cm) wrist, for most watches, I would recommend your strap be 125\/80mm in length, however, with this style clasp, I would recommend a length of 105\/100mm in length.<\/p>\n

Specifications:<\/strong> Single Swing-arm, button closure, 16mm to 20mm width and with Brushed, Polished, Yellow and Rose gold-tone finishes. I generally I would recommend this style clasp for straps with no larger than 22mm lug width:<\/p>\n

Double Butterfly Deployant clasp:<\/h3>\n

These are sort of an industry standard and are great for all kinds of watches, but especially larger and heavier sports – the button activation provides additional security.\u00a0 Additionally, these clasps allow for up to about a 4mm strap so that even our thicker Swiss Ammo and Panerai-style straps will work with these clasps.\u00a0 Available in 18 to 24mm widths and in finishes ranging from Brushed and Polished stainless steel as well as polished yellow and rose gold-tone and Polished and brushed PVD as well<\/p>\n

Single Butterfly deployant clasp:<\/h3>\n

This is the clasp that I recommend for smaller, less bulky dress watches, which are not heavy and so don’t necessarily need the additional security or extra bulk of button activation.\u00a0 with a signal swing arm and no side buttons, it’s also most likely to be more comfortable than the bit Double deployment clasps above.<\/p>\n

Double butterfly snap deployant clasps:<\/h3>\n

These clasps have recently become available from our aftermarket clasp supplier and I think that they really look great.\u00a0 Attached via a screw bar to the center notch of the short side strap, I think that these are of extremely high quality and offer a very OEM look and feel.\u00a0 These are available in brushed stainless, black PVD, Gold, and Rose Gold-tone:<\/p>\n
