Hi strap lovers. \u00a0I am very happy to share some wonderful photos sent by my good customer Marcela’s\u00a0Nomos Orion-33<\/a><\/span> on here newly arrived Deep Blue Teju Lizard. \u00a0This strap features superfine double row hand saddle stitching in light blue and red to match the colors of her M-series BMW.\u00a0 As many of you know from following this blog, we make a lot of strap for large chunky sports watches, but I’d like to emphasize here that we are happy to also make straps of a more elegant scale for more elegant watches as well. \u00a0 Watches don’t come too much more elegant that the watches from\u00a0Nomos<\/span><\/a>. \u00a0With their smaller diameter, minimal Bauhaus inspired design and thin profile (7.25mm including curved sapphire crystal), these watches are the definition of mid-century elegance. \u00a0Very impressed with the overall Nomos design and execution, I’m really looking forward to visiting the Nomos booth at Munichtime watch fair later this month to get some hands-on with their collection. \u00a0Marcela’s strap while very thin has been built using a vegetable tanned Kangaroo leather mid-layer for strength – Kangaroo leather is known to have 10 times the tensile strength of cowhide, so this strap while thin and supple is very strong. \u00a0Lined in soft and beautiful red Eel skin, to complete the sporty look.
