Hi strap lovers, IWC Big Pilot Black SuperMatte Ostrich Leg – One of the joys of my work it that it occasionally allows me to interact with really great customers and their incredible watches.\u00a0 Case in point is my good customer Peer and his wonderful IWC IW502635<\/a> .\u00a0 Having the chance to meet my custom in my workshop and to design a strap in collaboration my customer in person is a rare treat and affords me the opportunity to handle the watch and compare and contrast different materials to arrive at a design that most ideal for both the watch in question the personal taste of my customer.\u00a0 If you ever find yourself planning a trip to the Munich area, I would love to make an appointment with you to design a custom watch strap with you in person.\u00a0 The hundreds of material options available can result in thousands of possible strap combinations, so you can really geek out on your watch strap design.\u00a0 Ideally, you will come away with a custom watch strap design that should have been the strap that should have been offered with the watch from the manufacturer, while at the same time reflecting your own unique personality.<\/p>\n

Peer’s stunning IWC Big Pilot Perpetual Calendar in Rose Gold IW502635 is simply a stunning watch and these photos just do not do it justice.\u00a0 Paired with a custom watch strap made from Carbon Black SuperMatte Ostrich Leg skin (one of our newest materials and one which I’m very excited about).\u00a0 This strap features padding at the lugs and our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS), which provides an integrated fit between the lugs, Steel Grey French-milled linen thread (superfine hand saddle stitching) and our soft and extremely durable Commando Grey SuperMatte Teju Lizard skin lining.\u00a0 I think the combo is just perfect for this watch.\u00a0 Naturally, Peer’s watch is most definitely our ‘Watch of the Week’<\/p>\n
