If American Alligator is the King of exotic leathers then to our mind, Ostrich skin is surely Queen. With great joy, we are now introducing watch bands made of Ostrich Crown Quill. Ostrich Leather has been used as a staple of haute couture products most notably luxury handbags, wallets, fine shoes, and naturally, watch straps. We love it for its strong, soft, and very durable leather quality with just the right amount of shine.
It shows a cheerful and distinctive patterning of bumps(quills follicles) spread across a smooth field of varying leather densities. Tanning this leather requires an intricate, specialized, and expensive production process. Please be aware that each strap features unique quill patterns and therefore each strap looks slightly different. Before shipping, we offer to send pictures so you can choose the strap that is most compelling to you.
