Hi strap lovers.  I’m excited to share these photos I took of my friend Ingo’s IWC Big Pilot Ref. 5009 paired with the just-completed circa 1925 Swiss Ammo strap.  This strap is very special for a few reasons: 1) it features very light padding at the lugs, which is an upgrade we have just begun to offer on our Swiss Ammo straps (I believe that I am the only strap maker offering this upgrade on Vintage Ammo leather straps).  2) This strap also features our exclusive ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TLCS) upgrade which gives the strap a very custom integrated fitment between the lugs.

3). It was made from a very rare, indeed one-of-a-kind Swiss Ammo pouch dated from 1925.  This leather is unusual in that it is very light in color, which pairs well with the French Ecru linen thread and black dial of the IWC 5009.

4) This strap has been paired here with a stunning, 22mm Mammoth Ivory buckle handmade by Ingo of FineWatchBuckles.com.  We are fortunate to have a very limited stock of these buckles on hand and this Mammoth Ivory is becoming extremely rare and expensive.  If you are interested in getting a buckle from me, please know that I will only sell them if purchased with a Dangerous9strap.  If you want to buy just a Mammoth buckle I encourage you to contact Ingo right away, as his very limited supply of the material is dwindling fast!
