All our stingray straps are custom-made, being entirely handcrafted by me in our workshop located near Munich, Germany.  Stingray has a unique surface that is unlike that of any other leather. The surface of Stingray is composed of small, hard calcium deposits that give the leather a rough but glassy touch. Stingray has exceptional surface durability; it is very resistant to scrapes and scratches and retains its appearance with very little care required. Due to the composition of the surface, it is an ideal material for watch straps.

We offer a huge selection of Stingray colors and finishes.  Finishes are available in Natural pebble, high shine polished, and matte sanded finish.  Your strap can also be ordered with the central eye (of naturally pebbled stingray), and central Pearls (for high shine and sanded matte),  We also offer Row Stone Stingray with a high shine or Matte finish.  The Matte finish is exclusive to Dangerous9straps and offers a more subdued, less flashy finish.

We offer two finish options for the polished stingray: the standard high shine, as it arrives from the tannery or our custom sanded Matte finish, which offers a more subdued, less flashy finish.   Please note, that we don’t offer full stitching on Stingray straps, however, I can add accent stitching at the lugs and clasp/buckle.

Row Stone Stingray:

Row Stone Stingray are long narrow Stingray hides featuring large pearls Central pearls running the entire length of the hide. These hides make for uniquely eye-catching watch straps.

While I stock only a limited selection of Row Stone Stingray, if you have an idea of another color you might like for your custom strap, please contact me and I will gladly check with our Italy-based Tannery/supplier about your desired color.

I can make your strap with a medium shine finish as it is supplied to us from the tannery or if you prefer a more subdued finish, I can give your strap a sanded Matte finish.

This Stingrays have a shiny finish and feature the stingrays naturally pebbled finish without being sanded and polished to a flat surface by the tannery. These stingrays are dyed at the tannery and feature a distinctive un-dyed diamond-shaped center which are called the ‘Eye’. This section can be included in your strap or not depending upon your preference and the size of your strap and if it fits:
