A Piece of History on Your Wrist
Our custom strap is crafted from genuine vintage Swiss ammunition pouch leather, carefully salvaged to preserve its unique character and darkened at my customer’s request to a deeper, richer brown. This strap features the original maker’s mark, 1967 date stamp, and Swiss inspection stamp—historical details that add authenticity and charm.
One-of-a-Kind Craftsmanship
Each Custom Swiss Ammo Strap is truly unique. The natural aging and patina of the salvaged leather ensure that no two straps are exactly alike. Variations in color, texture, and markings give each strap its distinct character. Together with the unique, original maker’s stamping including the name of the individual saddler (sattler) and the Swiss town of his workshop, the year of manufacture and and finally the Swiss cross inspection stamping makes each strap, like the pouch from which is was made a one-of-a-kind item.

For optimal fit to the watch, we’ve added padding at the lugs, creating a substantial feel on the wrist. Our exclusive ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS) ensures a seamlessly integrated fit between the lugs of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, enhancing aesthetics to a strap that is unmistakably bespoke by Dangerous9strap.
Hand-Stitched Details & Finishing Touches
Hand saddle-stitched with Olive Drab Irish-milled waxed linen thread, this strap combines durability with refined style. The precise stitching reinforces the strap while adding subtle visual appeal. This is really a great color for both this vintage tone leather and also looks great with the greenish tone lume of the Fifty Fathoms
Completing the look is our polished ‘D9’ logo screw-in thumbnail buckle, offering both security and a touch of elegance.
