Navy SuperMatte Alligator for Erwin Sattler Regulateur – Hi strap lovers, I am happy to share some great photos that our good customer Peter send along of his Navy SuperMatte Alligator strap paired with his Classically elegant Erwin Sattler Regulateur Classic Secunde Erwin Sattler is a luxury clock and watch manufacturer based here in Graefelfing Germany and I have been admiring their wrist watches for many years now, but I have only had the pleasure of building straps for their watches a couple of times (they produce in very low numbers).
This SuperMatte Navy is part of our premium France Croco Alligator and Crocodile Collection. Sadly, we only had one of these Navy SuperMatte Alligator hides and it has already sold out, but we are working on a re-stock now (fingers crossed).
This strap was made with our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS), which provides an integrated fit between the lugs. This turned out pretty great, given that I was (as is often the case) working from the Lug/Watch case geometry measurement provided by our customer.
This strap was made to pair with our unbranded, inner-fold deployant clasp, with a polished finish which since the long side strap tucks to the inside, against the wrist, provides a very clean, streamlined finish on the wrist.
Stitched with matching Navy French-milled linen thread and lined with our extremely durable Navy Nappa Finished Kangaroo, this straps offers a subtle monotone elegance to Peter’s elegant strap.
