Safari Collection African leathersSafari African Leathers Collection:

Our Safari African Leathers Collection consists exclusively of our premium leathers from British Heritage Tannery partner Tusting & Burrnett (1938).  Tusting specializes in the final tannage of domestic Goat and Buffalo leathers from Africa.  Established in 1938, they are a fifth-generation, family-run British Tannery based in the heart of the English countryside in North Bedfordshire. We produce classic and high fashion bespoke leathers tanned and finished out in England on Goat, Cow, Buffalo, and Deer. Their leathers are used all around the world for luxury leather goods, handbags, small leather goods, footwear, and bookbinding.

We are extremely proud to work with Tusting & Burnett to bring you naturally finish leather of unique textures and finish in order to build custom straps of the highest quality.

Many of these leathers are new to us having just arrived in the previous weeks and we, therefore, for some that no examples of straps that we have made from these (will you be the first?).  Others such as our Zanzibar leather and Dirty Denim, have been in our lineup for many years.  In either case, we are confident in the quality and uniqueness of these leathers.

This is a really great color with a lot of depth and texture.  I immediately thought of this as being great in combination with the Omega Planet Ocean series watch, many of which feature a similar color.  Of course, this would also be great with any watch that features orange Accents or orange as their main color component.
