Hi John. You set a high bar with the JLC strap but, as much as I love that strap, I love this one more. It is more beautiful than I expected; the Baltic Blue has a certain blackness (appropriately named as it turns out) to it that makes it both more beautiful and a more versatile color. The tejo lizard also exceeds my expectations thanks to its incredibly beautiful and intricate deep relief.
I’m also extremely pleased with the match with the watch. The blues and whites perfectly match the face, the blue hands and the whitish luminescent “bubbles” on the hands.
As you can see from the attached photos, the fit with the coin edge of the watch is absolutely perfect. There is no gap whatsoever.
Lastly, the D9 clasp is a gem. I struggled just a little moving the notch one tighter but once adjusted, it became the most comfortable clasp I own.
It was worth the wait and I could not be more pleased!

Peter chose our Baltic Blue SuperMatte Teju Lizard strap, which pairs beautifully with the blue Roman numerals on the Breguet Marine’s dial. This deep blue hue offers a sophisticated, modern contrast against the watch’s white silver dial, enhancing the timepiece’s overall aesthetic while maintaining its luxurious appeal.
TCLS: Seamless Integration Between Lugs
One of the standout features of this custom strap is our Thick Curved Lug System (TCLS), designed to provide an integrated fit between the lugs, much like the OEM rubber strap that comes with the watch. This ensures a seamless connection between the case and strap, giving the watch a more cohesive and refined look while maintaining superior comfort on the wrist.
Superfine Hand Saddle Stitching in White Linen Thread
To further highlight the elegance of the Breguet Marine, this strap has been hand saddle stitched with superfine French-milled white linen thread. The crisp white stitching beautifully complements the silver-white guilloché dial, adding a touch of contrast while maintaining a harmonious balance with the overall design.
Luxurious Grey Kangaroo Leather Lining
Comfort is paramount, and this strap is lined with our custom-dyed Grey ‘Clone’ patterned Kangaroo Gloving leather. Polished Stainless Steel ‘D9’ Deployant Clasp
To complete the package, Peter’s strap is finished with our ‘D9’ logo inner-fold deployant clasp in polished stainless steel. This clasp not only enhances comfort by tucking the long side strap inside against the wrist but also eliminates the need for keeper loops, creating a streamlined and clutter-free look.
