SuperMatte Black Ostrich Leg Strap for Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Geographic – I am pleased to share these great sent by my great customer Peter, of his Jaeger LeCoultre Master Compressor Geographic on his newly arrived strap. Made from our SuperMatte Carbon Black Ostrich Leg with padding at the lugs and our exclusive ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS), which provides an integrated fit between the lugs, I think this strap is a great match for his classp JLC watch. This the fit for this strap was a bit more complicated becasue the spring bars were set close enough to the watch case that it requires curved spring bars as well, but I think that the fitment turned out to be spot-on!
Stitched with our Steel Grey French-Milled Linen thread and lined with custom dyed ‘Clone’ Patterned Kangaroo Gloving leather:
In order to provide our customer with both extreme comfort on the wrist and extreme durability, this strap was lined with our Kangaroo Gloving leather. These leathers have been specially engineered by the Tannery for use in sports and motorcycling gloved to be extremely durable, able to withstand years of repeated wetting/drying cycles without becoming brittle. Moisture is a major vulnerability for watch straps and probably the most common point of failure. This issue had been decisively addressed with these specially engineered leathers.
