Hi strap lovers. Like most production business, we have some old stock and early production items hanging around. in our case these straps tend to be straps that I build early in my strap making career that or some prototypes or items that have been returned for whatever reason or were never sold and are in a small pile taking up space. These straps are (luckily very few in number) for sale and upon request, I can provide a link to a slideshow where you can take a look. One of those straps is featured here. These photos sent by my good customer Dave of his great looking Paul Smith Automatic paired with a vegetable leather strap in Marine Cordovan with Ecru linen stitching. It’s a pretty rustic strap when compared with straps I’m making today, this strap was from 2010 and was probably among the first 50 straps I ever made. But a 4mm + thickness of vegetable tanned leather and stitched with monster 7 ply waxed Irish linen thread, it will last for ever and will look pretty good while doing it.
