Hi strap lovers, we’ve been in the thick of production here at Dangerous9straps since moving into our new Werkstadt and couldn’t be happier with the space, my new equipment and increased production. So much so that I’ve had little time to post here, but, I’m really excited about the last batch of straps – all exotics last week! One of my favorites from among them is this very special Alligator strap we picked up on your travels to Italy this past June – SuperMatte in Carbon black. This hide is a dream to work with and the texture and feel of this skin is just wonderful – almost like very soft rubber. This strap was built for my very good customer Douglas from the UK for is Panerai and he requested his strap be customized with Turquoise 4 ply waxed Irish linen stitching and custom dyed Turquoise Eel skin lining to match. Personally, I think it’s a stunning combination. This strap also features our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’, which give the strap and integrated fit with the curved Panerai watch case. I’ve made a handful of straps with this upgrade for Panerai watched and think it looks really stellar! So much so that I took the opportunity to take a few photos of the strap on my own PAM243 just to share with you here. I like the results so much I’m making it my ‘Watch of the Week’!
