Hi strap lovers, I wanted to share a few photos I took while on my recent visit to Florence.  Among the sights including the world famous Il Duomo di Firenze of course was a quick visit to the other world famous spot on Piazza del Duomo (at least to my fellow Paneristi) is the Panerai store.  I actually was unaware that the Panerai store was located right no the square until I arrived there – it located on Via Roma directly adjacent to the Baptistery of Saint John .  Which is very convenient since just about anyone who visits Florance is immediately drawn to it’s stunning cathedral and prevents the necessity of wandering about with family in tow hunting for a watch shop.  Please also note that Panerai is in the process of a new expansion of their store, which looks like it’s going to be more than 4 times the size of the original store -very cool indeed!!  I confess, I didn’t take the time to go inside on this visit due to time limitations and not wanting to bore my family to death – this trip was inspired by my mother who was in town for 10 days at the end of September for a visit.  But I did get some great photos of Panerai watches displayed in their window with Il Duomo reflected in the crystals of the watches.  What can I say about the city of Florence that has not been said 1000 percent better than I can.  I will say my biggest impression from the trip was turning off Via Faenza onto Via de Cerretani and catching my first proper glimpse of the Il Duomo it is just a huge and astonishing and massive building that practically glows in the dark (it was night time when we first arrived in Piazza del Duomo), which I guess in not surprising given the amount of  white Carrara marble used to decorate it’s facade.
