Hi strap lovers, here’s a strap I recently completed for my good customer, Alex’s Bell & Ross BR03 and I’m really happy with how it’s turned out. This strap was made, as are all Dangerous9straps leather straps, from naturally colored, undyed vegetable tanning leather. Except the leather for this strap was treated to some up close time with my belt sander to give it a great nubuck finish. After that I built the strap as usual, only being very careful not to stain the leather while going through all the steps needed to complete the strap. It was then given a treatment of stray-on water/stain proof finish, so that what you have is a great cream colored nubuck strap that will slowly tan with exposure to light into a deep, rich, tan leather color.
