It’s to be paired with a really wonderful Dubey & Schaldenbrand Aquadyn with a dark blue dial. I’ve been admiring the D&S watches for a really long time, I just love the art deco design of these watches, but allas, I’ve not been able to scrape together the $$ to buy one for myself (ah, so many great watches, so little money:-). Anyway, If I was to buy one, I would get the blue dialed version that Michael has and build myself a strap just like this one that’s going to Michael. It’s a really beauty, with nice substantial padding at the lugs and finely hand stitched with 4 ply Irish waxed linen in Royal Blue to set off the blue of the dial. Man, what a combo!! Lined with Dangerous9strap’s exclusive French Lambskin for comfort. This strap drips luxury, which is fitting for a super classy watch like a Dubey & Schaldenbrand Auqudyn. I hope Michael sends me some great photos of his new American Alligator strap all mounted up to his great Dubey & Schaldenbrand. And if he does, I’ll be posting them here pronto, so you can see for yourself what a great combo this is.
