1950’s Vintage Swiss Army Canvas for PAM243:

1950’s Vintage Swiss Army Canvas for PAM243 – Hi strap lovers, I wanted to share a recently completed Canvas and leather straps made from a 1950’s era Swiss Army Rucksack.  This design was completed in collaboration with my very good Gabe from Southern California for his PAM320 and it turned out so great, I decided to build one for my own Panerai PAM0243.  The design itself is quite complex with 4 layers of material (upper leather framing the canvas, Canvas layer, vegetable-tanned mid-layer, and lining leather).  This strap is very finely hand saddle stitched using Ecru 3 ply waxed Irish linen that I think is a really great match for both the vintage canvas and leather as well as the dial markers of the PAM 243.  Only Dangerous9straps builds straps with this level of detailed handwork, the keeper alone taking about an hour of careful work to get right.  If you are interested in having us build one of these uniquely handcrafted straps for your watch, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
