Hi strap lovers, My neighbor recently asked me to build a strap for his well worn Breitling (I think Navitimer). We settled on a Navy Blue Ostrich leg with glossy finish, with fine hand saddle stitching in Butterscotch Irish linen, which sets off the Navi’s two tone navy and gold perfectly. Also since he tends to be a leather abuser (wears this watch 24/27/365), I build it with a vegetable tanned Kangaroo leather mid-layer and black Kangaroo lining – a leather strap can’t me made from tougher stuff.. Before I returned his watch to him I took the opportunity to take some photo.
