Hi strap lovers.  Once in a while, I’m provided with photos from a customer which are truly exceptional.  Case in point are these beautiful photos from my good customer Gary of his great looking Omega Planet Ocean 600m Co-Axial Master Chronometer 43.5mm paired with his newly arrived SuperMatte Carbon Black Teju with Orange SuperMatte Teju Lizard lining.  This strap features padding at the lugs and our ‘Thick Curved Lug System’ (TCLS) which provides an integrated fit between the lugs.  Hand saddle stitched with cream white French linen when combined with the Orange Lizard lining gives this strap just the right amount of ‘Pop’.

SuperMatte Finish Perfected:
The SuperMatte Teju Lizard is a Dangerous9straps exclusive material. Based upon the success our SuperMatte Carbon American Alligator, we worked in collaboration with our Italian tannery to develop this finish for Teju Lizard. After much trial and error, we have finally arrived at a finish that we are absolutely thrilled with.  We Currently offer SuperMatte Teju in Black, Red, Blue, Commando Grey, Orange and Walnut Brown. We are extremely pleased with the outcome. The finish a very durable and super soft to the touch.

Perfect for leather linings:
Our SuperMatte Teju Lizard range is fast becoming one of my favorite lining leather options.  Since the SuperMatte finish essentially waterproof (and sweatproof), this is our most durable lining option requiring little in the way of maintenance beyond the occasions swipe with a damp cloth to keep looking new.  Additionally, since they can make this finish in just about any color, offer a really great flash of color to just about any watch/strap combo is possible.  And last but certainly not least, the Lizard leather pattern not only looks very, very cool but its texture promote a bit of air circulation between the strap and the skin adding to the comfort of the strap.  So what we have here is a win-win-win-win!

Omega style deployant clasp:
I’ve recently become a huge fan of the Omega Style deployant clasp (we offer this style unbranded in 16, 18, and 20mm widths and in brushed and polished stainless steel and can get them in Yellow and Rose Gold finish as well).  This thing that I find most appealing about this style claps is that since the long side strap tucks to the inside against the wrist, there is no need of keeper loops, giving the straps a very clean finish on the wrist.  Also, since this style clasp requires no clamp closure which can damage the finish of the strap (Like the Tag Heuer style clasps) or strange crimps (like the Breitling style deployant clasps), I think it will add to the overall durability of the strap.
