Rare and Massive Handmade Coin Buckles

Rare and Massive Handmade Coin BucklesRare and Massive Handmade Coin Buckles:

Rare and Massive Handmade Coin Buckles – Hi strap lovers!  I am very happy to share this small batch of massive handmade buckles with inset coins made by Maddog Straps.  Maddog sadly is no longer a going concern, however, one of our suppliers has offered this small batch of handmade buckles by Thies of the former Maddog Straps, which was based out of Austria, who was not only a maker of very unique straps but a maker of premium handmade buckles as well.  So when given the opportunity to buy some of his remaining stock of buckles, I jumped at the chance.  These buckles come in 22, 24, and 26mm widths and as I say are massive at about 5mm in thickness.

Rare and Massive Handmade Coin Buckles

Milled from solid stainless steel or solid bronze, and inset with either vintage US Indian Head nickel coins or Swiss 2 Rappen copper coins showing the Swiss Cross (the Swiss mint started issuing these 0.02 Swiss Franc coins in 1948  and these were withdrawn from circulation in 1974). these buckles are beautifully made, extremely unique, and of course, the very last of their kind.

Buckles 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, and 8 below have been sold:

I will offer these in combination with custom strap orders and will pair perfectly with our Swiss Ammo straps and of course, are ideally paired with larger watches, such as Panerai, Kaventsmann, Vintage-VDB, and H2O/Helberg watches, etc.

Above at middle: 24mm buckles
Above: 22mm buckles
