Panerai’s Luminor Due 42mm PAM01274 is a masterpiece of minimalist design, offering the unmistakable Panerai DNA in a slimmer, more refined package. Its brilliant blue sunburst dial dances with the light, shifting hues from deep navy to radiant electric blue depending on the angle. At 42mm, it wears beautifully on a variety of wrist sizes and brings a modern elegance to the rugged spirit of Panerai’s heritage.

The Strap: Vintage Dakar Teju Lizard
Crafted from our Vintage Dakar Teju Lizard, this strap is something truly unique. What makes this strap so special is the rare oil-tanned pull-up finish, a technique almost never used with exotic leathers like lizard. The result is a rich, rugged character that will age beautifully over time, developing a patina and subtle tonal shifts that reflect the wearer’s journey.
This exotic leather features the distinctive scale pattern of Teju lizard, enhanced by the pull-up process to emphasize natural texture and tonal variation. The Vintage Dakar hue pairs exceptionally well with the Luminor Due’s blue dial, providing a warm contrast and complementing the watch’s polished steel case.
Handcrafted Details that Count
Martin’s strap was made with padding at the lugs, offering a robust and integrated fit that’s both secure and visually striking. The profile tapers elegantly from 22mm at the lugs to 18mm at the Panerai buckle, giving the whole setup a balanced, tailored look that enhances the watch’s sleek case.
For the stitching, we used Cinnamon brown French-milled linen thread, a subtle tone-on-tone that complements the leather without distracting from the overall aesthetic. The lining is our ultra-soft and durable Saddle Mustard kidskin, ensuring all-day comfort and moisture resistance on the wrist.
