David’s Sunrise Ostrich for PAM111

Hi strap lovers, Here is a strap that I really love. We just completed it for our good customer David. He had originally ordered a strap we had designed together for his Eterna Kontiki diver, but the acquired a PAM111 and decided to switch up to the Sunrise Ostrich. This one has been hand saddle-stitched using Slate Grey 4 ply waxed linen thread. His original strap strap was designed to include black Kangaroo lining, but that would not work with this strap, because the edges are not painted, but dyed and waxed, so I chose to upgrade his strap using Dangerous9straps’ exclusive smoke gray Eel skin lining. I think it’s a killer combo with the Sunrise Ostrich and Slate Grey. You’ll notice that I show you more than just one photo of my straps but typically provide my customers with between 12 and 20 photos of their completed strap. I do this for a three reasons: 1) I’m proud of my work and and excited about it and want to show it off. 2) I want my customer to be as excited as I am about getting their new strap. 3) I show the backs of the strap because there is something to see there. To me the back of the strap is nearly as important as the front and I really focus on using exceptional and often exclusive materials to make a strap that is a true luxury to wear.

A note about Materials: Dangerous9straps are made using only the very finest materials throughout. Our philosophy is that nothing should go into your strap that I would not be proud to have on the outside. Many straps maker and especially the larger strap manufacturers use foam, cork composites and other lower quality preformed man made materials inside their straps. These materials will breakdown over time and destroy your strap from the inside. Dangerous9straps’ mid-layer and padding are made using top grade vegetable tanned leather – the same leather we use to build our leather straps. These leathers will not breakdown over time and as a result, our straps are made to last a lifetime and more.
