Custom straps for Bell & Ross BR02 – I’ve been building straps for the Bell & Ross BR02 series since the founding of Dangerous9straps way back in 2010 and am always happy to build custom straps for this watch (being a long-time owner of this watch myself). And, while the BR02 Diver watch series was discontinued several years ago, I still get a few requests a year to build custom straps for this model series. Here are a few that I have completed recently:
Antique French Oak:
This strap is made from our vegetable-tanned leather strap with our special Antique French Oak finish. This strap was actually made back in 2014, but I like it so much that I would like to feature it again here;-) These straps are made from natural cream-colored vegetable-tanned leather, which are then hand-stained and dyed to our customer’s requested color. This special Antique finish is made using a unique multi-stage process with as many as 12 stages taking 3 days to complete (with drying time for the dying, staining, conditioning, and finishing stages). Your strap is then hand saddle stitched using your choice of thread color. All BR02 straps come with high-quality 26mm spring bars installed for easier strap changes. We also offer custom ‘BR’ stamping at the long side strap at the lugs and ‘&’ stampings on the long side strap tail and keeper as a no-cost option on our vegetable-tanned leather straps.
Vintage Black:
The Vintage Black is, like the previous strap made from hand-dyed Vegatable-tanned leather, which has been carefully applied with a diluted black leather dye to give the strap a vintage/distressed color. Here hand saddle stitched with Orange French-milled linen thread. All BR02 straps come with high-quality 26mm spring bars installed for easier strap changes. This strap features ‘&’ stampings on the long side strap tail and keeper as a no-cost option on our vegetable-tanned leather straps. This strap was made to fit the customer’s OEM Bell & Ross buckle:
SuperMatte Carbon Black:
I’ve made two of these straps, to basically the same specification, one with Orange Stitching and one with Olive Drab stitching, Both of these turned out really cool with padding at the lugs, and lined with Orange SuperMatte Teju Lizard and Olive Drab Kangaroo Gloving leather (now sold out) respectively. for Buckles on these straps – one with our vintage-style, flat, sewn-in buckle and one with our ‘D9‘ Pre-V buckle and both with matte PVD finish:
Black leather:
This strap is, Like the first couple of straps in this blog post, made from hand-dyed Vegetable-tanned leather, This one with Padding at the lugs and hand saddle stitched with our French-milled linen thread. Also stamped with the aforementioned ‘BR’ and ‘&’ stamps. This straps has been fitted with our ‘D9’ logo Pre-V style, screw-in buckle with matte black PVD finish:
